Again, tomb of legendary philosopher Karl Marx vandalized in London

Image
The tomb of legendary philosopher, Karl Marx in Highgate cemetery in London has been vandalised for the second time in the space of a month.   The words “doctrine of hate” and “architect of genocide” were found daubed in red paint across the Grade I-listed monument in the north London graveyard on Saturday. The latest attack comes less than two weeks after the marble plaque on the tomb was defaced by an apparent attempt to scrape and chip Marx’s name off the marble slab with a hammer.   At the time the group who manage the cemetery said they feared the memorial would never be the same again. Maxwell Blowfield, 31, who visited the cemetery this morning with his mother admitted he was “quite shocked” by the attack.  Vandals back at Marx Memorial, Highgate Cemetery. Red paint this time, plus the marble tablet smashed up. Senseless. Stupid. Ignorant. Whatever you think about Marx's legacy, this is not the way to make the point. pic.twitter.com/hGKBMYGWNy— ...

Image
A debate is currently going on on social media regarding parenting and if it's right for a parent to leave their child with a nanny to go clubbing. The debate began after Gbenro Ajibade took to Instagram to accuse his wife, Osas Ighodaro of leaving their child with the nanny to go clubbing. But a number of Twitter users called him out for accusing his wife of abandoning their child when he also abandoned the child to travel abroad. Others also pointed out that Osas' job requires that she hosts night shows and he knew that before he married her, therefore it is wrong to expect her to give up her life style.A Twitter user went on to tweet:  Maybe I'm traditional but leaving your baby for a Nanny to club is a bit irresponsible. But multiple Twitter users argued that if it's OK to leave your child with a nanny to go to work or to go for a church program, then it's no different from leaving the child with a nanny to go clubbing.Below are arguments for and against leaving y...
