Photos: Two white South Africans arraigned in court for forcing black man into coffin
Willem Oosthuizen and Theo Martins Jackson pictured above were this morning arraigned before the Middelburg Magistrate Court in South Africa on charges of assault and kidnapping. The men were captured in a viral video showing them forcing a black man into a coffin while threatening to put a snake and petrol inside the casket.
The victim, Victor Rethabile, told the court today that the men beat him up after accusing him of trespasssing their property.
"They were accusing me of trespassing. They beat me up and forced me into the coffin," said Victor
The presiding judge adjourned the case till January 25th and ordered the accused persons to be remanded in prison till the next date for hearing.
