Between January and June, we have arrested 682 crime suspects in Edo State- Police CP

The Commissioner of Police (CP) in Edo State,  Haliru Gwandu, says they have arrested 682 crime suspects in the state between January and June 2017. Speaking to Journalist on Friday in Benin, he said the suspects were arrested following 332 reported crimes that took place in the state during the period under review. Giving a breakdown of the figure, he said 221 were arrested for armed robbery

Foreigner accuses Abuja hotel of food poisoning and theft (photos)

A woman from Trinidad and Tobago is accusing an Abuja hotel, Sabbatical Suites, of food poisoning and revealed that her bag was also stolen while she was lodged there. Carlene said she was given a meal prepared with rotten meat and the hotel management apologised after she called their attention to it. She later fell really ill as a result and was admitted to two different hospitals in Abuja, Nigeria.   The hotel management promised to take care of her medical expenses but never did.
