Following the directive of the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, for an overhaul of the operations of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Sqaud FSARS, the police committee set up by the Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Idris, to effect the changes in SARS, has begun an inspection of FSARS detention facilities. This is to ensure the facilities are in good standard and in no way abuse the humanrights of those that would be kept in them. This was disclosed by ACP Yomi Shogunle.
