Police intercepts nearly 2 tons of marijuana disguised as lettuce at the Texas border

Drug smugglers are now trying to use lettuce to disguise marijuana shipments into the United States.  The phony lettuce-like bundles however didn't get past the US Customs and Border Protection officers in Laredo, Texas, on Monday as officers seized 5,754 packages containing nearly 2 tons of marijuana. The truck crossed the Laredo-Colombia Solidarity International Bridge along the Texas-Mexico

A woman from Trinidad and Tobago is accusing an Abuja hotel, Sabbatical Suites, of food poisoning and revealed that her bag was also stolen while she was lodged there. Carlene said she was given a meal prepared with rotten meat and the hotel management apologised after she called their attention to it. She later fell really ill as a result and was admitted to two different hospitals in Abuja, Nigeria.   The hotel management promised to take care of her medical expenses but never did. ''INEC does not count prayer points, it counts PVC'' Apostle Suleman urges Nigerians to get their PVCs

Senior Pastor of the Omega Fire Ministries , Apostle Johnson Suleman , has called on Nigerians to go out and get their Permanent Voters Cards as INEC counts only PVCs during elections and not prayer points. Speaking during a curch programme recently, the clergyman said "INEC do not count Prayers, it counts Votes. Only your votes can inject fresh, God fearing and trusted leaders who can turn our fortunes around and make the country a better place'' he said
